Community engagement

I’ve been putting up draft chapters of my book for people to comment on in Cloudworks and on my blog. Today I set up a drop box folder and put up the lasted versions. I invited people to join the space via fb and Twitter and have been amazed by the response so far! I have already had some useful feedback and Dominic Newbould has kindly offered to give it a ruthless edit. I can’t believe how generous the research community is, doctor real peer learning! I am certain the book will be much better as a result. Email me if you want an invite to the space.

I love the idea of collaborative learning. I would like to invite you to present and/or participate at the first online Moodlemoot: http://moodlemoot.integrating-technology.org

Dear Gráinne, I really loved your blog and your ideas. We never know how suggestions of people came into our pages! Never mind! They do follow a reasonable logic… We do belong to the same field! I deal with interactions in online courses, covering all within a course site, starting by the instructional design and going throug informal and formal interactions. I’m in love with my present theme!
I’m Marcia Lygia Casarin, from Sao Paulo, Brazil…It will be great pleasure to keep contact with you!
By the way, are you going to the 24th ICDE World Conference hosted by Universitas Terbuka, Indonesia, from 2 – 5 October, 2011, in Bali? I’m presenting there! http://www.ut.ac.id/icde2011/
Gosh, it would really be a wonderful coincidence! I start my talk re-calling the deeds of the British Open University! Amazing how people tend to forget the brave first explorers of a field!
    Best wishes

I visit your blog from time to time. But why don’t you change the default wordpress theme. There are a lot of free themes out there.

It really will make your blog look better.
