Hi there - I'm currently working on an action enquiry report as part of a post graduate degree in Adult Literacies at Aberdeen University. I am extremely interested in the questions you have posed. I am currently using a pc to link up with Caroline in New Zealand who is participating in an adult literacies tutor training course in Kirkwall, Orkney. I work as the manager of an adult learning centre helping adult students reach their full potential. I am not good in the ICT field but have managed to link up with New Zealand five times and include Caroline in the two and a half hour training session. I would be interested to know if there is any research or publications out there to increase my effectiveness as a teacher using this technology. I have overcome some of the sound problems but it is keeping Caroline in the loop as part of the group in the actual room that I am finding very difficult.Any ideas?
